The innovative new i450 ultrasonic flow meter delivers real-time flow insights for consumption measurement. Leveraging Sentronics’ patented anti-aliasing technique for measurement of highly pulsating fuel systems, the i450 delivers precision data for accurate flow analysis. Designed as a volume product, the i450 makes advanced flow measurement accessible to a significantly larger audience.

Zero pressure drop design
The i450 benefits from a zero pressure drop design which supports fuel system performance and ensures no drop in engine efficiency that could be impacted by varying pressure. With minimal friction and a smooth inline flow path, the i450 eliminates pressure loss as the fluid flows through it making it superior to other flow measurement technologies that rely on turbines.

Reynolds number insensitive
Accuracies of ±0.5% of reading is maintained across a range of flow regimes; laminar, transitional, and turbulent.

Remote bootloading capability
Featuring integrated data logging and and remote bootloading for advanced diagnostics and sensor health checking. The i450 is ideal for cloud-based fuel consumption solutions as it enables remote operating system uploads and firmware updates which is vital for fleet vessels on 24/7 schedules or generators in remote locations where access to update this manually is difficult, time-consuming and expensive.
